Insomniacs is proud to welcome team Critical eSports to our Hon chapter! They will be competing in various tournaments and hopefully make a name for themselves within the eSports community. Their leader Citex was interested in representing us with his four team mates who all recently competed in the Swedish Internet Mastership Qualification Semifinals. They will be tagged in game as IGCE (Insomniacs Gaming Community eSports) and display the Insomniacs Logo, we will also keep you posted on their tournament victories here on the website! I am hoping they will enjoy their stay with our community and have great success in Heroes of Newerth.


I also had the chance to interview Citex about his team to see what he had to say about future goals and tell us a little more about the team!


Kelethar: So Citex, why don't you tell us a little about yourself.

Citex: I'm a 20 year old boy from Sweden. I've played computer games since the age of 12. Played Floorball since I was 7, and right now I'm working as a personnel manager for a cleaning company. Nothing too unusual.

Kelethar: I know you're currently playing Heroes of Newerth, what other games did you play before?

Citex: I have been a gamer a long time now. DotA (Warcraft 3) and Battlefield 2, 3 and 2142. For many years I played World of Warcraft. Now I find myself in Heroes of Newerth.

Kelethar: It's hard to find people who don't have some history in World of Warcraft. What lead you to play Heroes of Newerth?

Citex: As I said before I played DotA, mostly with friends. Never at a serious level. And when HoN came I wanted to tryout something new, besides WoW. So when my last Wow guild expired, I moved to HON as my primary game.

Kelethar: So what are your plans with HON now? Do you have a team? Are you planning to compete at a higher level?

Citex: Yes, I have a team of 5 Swedish boys and we're ready to rock and roll.

Kelethar: Would you care to introduce them?

Citex: Well there is me, Citex (Drafter/Initiator/Tank) I'm usually the one to take the leadership role in most games that offer clans or guilds. Then we have Luddigaludde(Mid-Player), Kurrelina(Hardcarry), AntecSonata (First Support)and finally KomaKrigarn (Second Support/Roaming Support).

Kelethar: How long have you guys been together?

Citex: About a month and a half now, things are going pretty well to be honest. We competed in the Swedish Internet Mastership Qualification Semifinals. Sadly we lost but we will keep going. We will also be competing in the ItsGosu April Open.

Kelethar: That's great. Do you have a preferred Tournament you'd like to see yourself compete in?

Citex: HoN Tour? Haha. Nah, but Dream Hack Winter would be a good goal I think. Our long term goal is to become top 10 in HON Competitive.

Kelethar: What is your favorite characters to play in HON?

Citex: I usually play heroes like Armadon, Magmus, Tundra and Pharo. So Tanks and Initation heroes. But my favorite would have to be Armadon or Zephyr, I like those two very much!

Kelethar: After all your practice and tournaments are done, what do you do in your off time?

Citex: Hang out with friends, watch streams, HoNcast especially.
