Insomniacs core grouped started a long time ago in Ragnarok Online. Where people argued over which square their character would AFK on and to sell items you would vendor them in the street with a click-able chat bubble. That game held a lot of community togetherness, team work and an amazing weekly PVP event that required guild on guild strategic maneuvering to hold a castle with your banner on it. Then came the mother of all MMO's, which stole us away from that lovely Korean game, which housed our guild for the next 7 years.
World of Warcraft, was such a great and rewarding experience. For the next 7 years our core group expanded in vast numbers. From the handful that left Ragnarok, we traveled from server to server, guild to guild, learning how to raid and racing with others for server first kills. As our group grew in numbers we then decided to make our own guild. Which was extremely successful in heroics and being a top name on Hakkar, Mug'thol and Gorefiend. Throughout the time we spent in our own guild we made many friends and also branched out to other video games during transition between expansions. As the game grew a little less challenging than we had hoped for, Insomniacs started looking for their next adventure and new members to join their ranks. Unfortunately, the gaming industry decided to release so many new games at the same time, it's been hard focusing on just 1! Hopefully that next challenge will come with Tera Online.
Insomniacs is more than just a guild, it's a community. We have made friends from all over the world, from all different servers and games. We are proud to have found so many people that express the same devotion towards gaming as we do. Through the hardships of raiding and new challenges, we hope to find many more that will want to join our community and chapters of games, we hope to fill our gaming family with like minded people. We offer our respect and empathy to those in the gaming world, where trolling and bad manners are the new trendy outlet, we strive to make a better competitive environment than those that try to bring others down. Although most of us have horrible sleeping schedules, real life problems to deal with and come from different backgrounds, at the end of the day gaming is what makes us happy. The Insomniacs Gaming Community will be there for anyone that wants to join.
